Complete zero emission done by all six domestic factories

Sumitomo Rubber Group has accomplished complete zero emission at its six domestic factories after SRI Sports Ltd. and SRI Hybrid Ltd. attained their targets at their Ichijima and Kakogawa factories at the end of June 2005. That was six month earlier than schedule.
Complete zero emission means elimination of landfilled waste. Those six factories had 3,750 tons of reclaimed waste in 2000 but worked hard on reduction of such waste and as a result of that it became only 50 tons in 2004.
