Sumitomo Rubber Latin America Limitada To Be Established

Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. in Kobe, Japan will establish a company to sell replacement tires for the Central and South America in order to strengthen its tire sales in the region under the global operations in the tire business. The company named Sumitomo Rubber Latin America Limitada will be located in Santiago, Chile and start business in October 2009 for the region which is expected to keep growing.

Sumitomo Rubber Latin America Limitada will aim to expand sales of replacement tires by supplying tires to meet the local needs and engaging in sales activities through its marketing close to the region.
