Sumitomo Rubber Middle East FZE Established

Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. in Japan established a tire selling company named Sumitomo Rubber Middle East FZE in September in Dubai, United Arab Emirates in order to expand sales of replacement tires in the Middle East region, where the demand for tires is growing due to its rapid economic development. The new company starts operations on Thursday January 1, 2009.
Sumitomo Rubber Middle East FZE aims to enhance customer satisfaction and expand the sales mainly of replacement tires for passenger cars, light trucks and trucks through tire supply and sales activities to meet the needs of the region.
